Sleep in the heart of the forest!
With a view of the Rivière Noire, the Forêt ancienne refuge (without water or electricity) is available for exclusive rental for a rustic experience in the heart of the forest.
It will appeal to adventurous customers who want to enjoy the calm of the forest and the incomparable charm of this site for an overnight stay.
Your dog is welcome! Please note that dogs must never be left alone in the dwelling.
The refuge is accessible to all during the day (it acts as a relay) and is reserved exclusively for rental customers from 4 p.m. in the afternoon until 9 a.m. the following morning.
Rental includes :
- The refuge for the night
- A wood burning stove (wood is provided)
- A double burner hot plate (propane not included)
- 4 floor mattresses (covered in vinyl)*
- An outhouse a few meters from the refuge
*The maximum capacity is 6 people. As we only provide 4 single floor mattresses, you will need to bring your own equipment if you exceed this number.
Located 2 km from the parking area, the refuge is only accessible on foot. You’ll need to bring your own equipment.

Rate per night : $90 (+ applicable taxes)
Arrival time : 4 p.m.
Departure time : no later than 9 a.m.
*If you’re staying for more than one night, you can leave your equipment safely on the locked mezzanine.
No on-site supervision or reception.
No on-site services. Renters must bring everything they need for their stay.
