Enjoy the great outdoors year-round in the L’Érable region

Located in Centre-du-Québec, the Parc régional des Grandes-Coulées is a must-visit destination for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, biking, and nature observation.

The park is distinguished by its two complementary natural areas:

  • The Forêt ancienne sector (Plessisville): over 12 km of forest trails accessible year-round, perfect for hiking, snowshoeing, and family activities
  • The Grande Tourbière de Villeroy sector: an exceptional natural environment featuring a 1.2-km wooden boardwalk in the heart of one of southern Quebec’s largest peat bogs (area currently closed due to construction)

Open from sunrise to sunset, the park offers an immersive nature experience, whether for a day trip or an extended stay.
