The Rivière Noire is calm, deep at places, dotted with small rapids and offers a wide range of opportunities in which to outwit the vigorous trout. More than 30 fishing spots have been set up, and you can fish directly from the riverside, much to the delight of fishing enthusiasts. The parc régional des Grandes-Coulées is an ideal place to introduce young people to fishing.
Important: Fishermen must have daily access to the park (or hold an annual pass), possess a fishing permit, and respect the limit of five fish per permit.
