Near the parking lot and along the trails, there are a few covered picnic areas in the Forêt ancienne. These allow you to rest or get something to eat before continuing on your way.
Halfway along the trails is our refuge, where the whole family is welcome, even your dog! The benches and picnic tables in and around the refuge provide a place to break bread, while listening to the calming river gently flowing in the background. In winter, the hikers’ wood-fired refuge offers a comforting and relaxing atmosphere.
Pssst! The refuge is available for rental to have a rustic experience in the forest. It will appeal to the more adventurous who wish to take full advantage of the calm atmosphere of this regional park.
