In the Forêt ancienne, you have 12 km of trails along the magnificent Rivière Noire. What makes this sector special? Definitely its accessibility.
Family is at the heart of the regional park’s mission and it is important to us that young and old alike can enjoy this space. Our low-gradient trails allow young parents to walk with a large-wheeled stroller or pull toddlers on a sled in winter, particularly on the Des Pins, De la Tortue, De l’Érablière, and Des Chevreuils trails.
In addition, these trails are accessible with assistance for people with reduced mobility.
All four seasons are magnificent in the park. Between the vibrant colours of autumn, the white carpet of winter, the forest that awakens in spring and the beauty of summer, each season offers a unique atmosphere.
